It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of New Brighton Primary School in Wallasey, Wirral. New Brighton Primary is a thriving primary school for children from 3 – 11 years, situated close to the promenade at New Brighton.
We are a large primary school which is split into 4 discreet departments, offering a very personal and caring environment for each individual child. “Providing outstanding care, guidance and support” (Ofsted 2011). As a result of this pupils of all ages are happy and thrive both educationally and emotionally.
As we are a large school we have the advantage of being able to offer a wide variety of curriculum enhancements and after school clubs. We are fortunate to have our own sports coach who manages a wide variety of sports activities for children of all ages and, in the spirit of the Olympic legacy, we aim to help “Inspire a Generation”. With the Olympic legacy in mind we have also recently invested in a new 17 seater mini bus to enable children to access sports fixtures and engage pupils in local trips to enhance the curriculum.
I am very privileged to lead an exceptional team of staff who make a real and lasting difference to the education of the young people in their care. Together we ensure pupils maintain high standards of behaviour and we create a safe learning environment which does not tolerate bullying.
At New Brighton all staff are proud of the positive partnership they have with parents. We work hard to ensure children leave us with the character, skills and educational attainment which will help ensure they are ready for the challenges of the 21st Century.
We are all very proud of our school community and welcome parents to visit school to see us in action. Should you wish to make a visit please contact Jane (School Business Manager) on 0151 639 3869/e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, who would be delighted to show you around.
